Reptiles are notoriously picky eaters, but did you know they love worms. Worms are high in protein and probably delicious. Red composting worms are perfectly suited to the terrarium or aquarium. Some people even use them as bait for fishing. They have a survival technique that’s irresistible to a hungry lizard, snake or frog, they flip around like a fish out of water when threatened. Making catching them a small challenge for reptiles who often won’t eat dead prey. We’re not above adding to the food chain, so if you’d like to try using red or white worms as food for other pets, please drop us a line.
